Cowboy Christmas 2012

Scarves are just a portion of the great gift items, outerwear and throws we’ll have at this year’s Cowboy Christmas Gift Show.

November finds us gearing up for our next show, Cowboy Christmas, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Cowboy Christmas Gift Show opens December 6 and runs through December 15, concurrent with the National Finals Rodeo. The Gift Show will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is open to the public from 10am to 5pm.

When you visit, be sure to stop by our booth, number 338, and see what is new and wonderful for the holiday season! We will have several coat designs, and a wide variety of jackets and vests. Responding to popular demand, we will have the best selection of scarves and handbags for the year! For home, we will have all of our throw designs as well as a our new handwoven holiday ornaments for your tree.

The Road to Jackson Hole

The road to the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole Wyoming started some months ago in our studio in Santa Fe. It encompassed hours of designing, dyeing, weaving, and sewing, in order to present our newest clothing and throws. And along the way, just north of Jackson, we encountered this rather pleasant buffalo traffic jam.

Opening night was the Gala Fashion show, which is always fun for the audience, the models, and the designers. For the next three days, we welcomed old and new customers to our booth to see and purchase our latest work. A special thank you to Jenny, our best model ever. And thank you to the Western Design Conference for another great show in Jackson.

We hope your Fall plans start with a trip to the 20th Annual Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, September September 7th through September 9th, where we’ll have a booth and be featured in the Fashion Show & Gala Reception.

We will be showing our newest, handwoven, western-influenced designs in both outerwear and home accessories. Come to our booth to see our new Tunic Vest and Little Evening Bags for yourself. Plus be sure to try on our gorgeous new Winter Coat, with over-sized collar, perfect for snuggling in!

The show is open to the public and will run from September 7th through September 9th at the Snow King Pavilion in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Doors open at 10 am and close at 5 pm. In addition to the design show, you won’t want to miss The Fashion Show and Gala Reception at the Center for the Arts on Thursday September 6th at 7:15. We will be presenting six new looks at the Fashion Show. The show is beautiful, high energy, and always fun. Tickets are required as this a well attended event, so don’t wait to make your plans. Western Wearables Trunk Show, March 15-18

We’re happy to be featured in the upcoming Western Wearables Trunk Show at the C.M. Russell Museum Store, in Great Falls, Montana. The trunk show, which runs from March 15 – 18, will include western accessories, jewelry, and of course our own handwoven clothing and throws. Admission is free, so if you’re in Great Falls you won’t want to miss it.

The trunk show is one of the many events run in association with the CM Russell Museum, which collects and preserves art by C.M. Russell and other Western art from the turn of the last century. To find out more about the trunk show and museum, click here.

2012 Line & New Retailers Around the World

We returned a few weeks ago from the WESA show in Denver, Colorado where our new 2012 line was a huge success! Not only will our line of handwoven jackets and throws be available soon at number of new stores in the United States, but we also took orders from stores in France and Japan. We see this as testament to an improving economy and the increasing demand for unique items that are handmade in the USA.

2012 Western Coat in "Saddle Mountain"

Some of our best selling styles were the Western Coat in the color Saddle Mountain and the Coach Jacket in the color Sugar King. The coat is our traditional western coat cut with a new larger, cozier collar. The colors are warm leather tones with dashes of soft greens and cayennes. The Coach Jacket and the Long Coach Jacket are clean, contemporary, fitted styles with high collars. Sugar King is a warm palomino color with denim and desert toned accents.

As always, it was great seeing return customers in Denver. Some stores continuing to carry our work include The Colorado Home Collection in Estes Park, Colorado, Rawhide in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Leddy’s Ranch in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Across the US, we’re excited to announce the following new retailers: Burns Cowboy Shop in Park City, Utah and Carmel, California, Ranch House Dry Goods and Buckaroo Blankets in Llano,Texas, Mr. Boot’s in San Angelo, Texas, Aiken Dry Goods in Aiken, South Carolina. Internationally you’ll soon be able to find our handwoven, southwestern clothing at the Boutique Le Gardian in Les-Stes-Maries-de-la-Mer, France, and American West Trading Company in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. And lastly, we would be remiss to not mention our new store here at home in Santa Fe, Cowboys and Indians, right on the downtown Plaza.
